The Young and the Restless spoilers for Wednesday, May 1 reveal a day of love, romance, and heartbreak in Genoa City.
Not-So Blindsided
It’s an hour of moping and tears for Cane (Daniel Goddard) as he faces life without Lily — for good this time. She took off before he even woke, leaving him with a Dear John note and a fresh set of divorce papers.
Thankfully, Cane has Traci (Beth Maitland) and Jill (Jess Walton) to lean on. Jill gives him a healthy dose of motherly love but Traci seems to have ulterior motives.
Cane’s pain continues to get her creative juices flowing. Teasers show he will clearly becoming the lead in her next big romance novel.
The ladies share a touching moment over lunch at Society. It’s been quite some time since Jill and Traci sat down. Get some tea brewing because you will not want to miss a minute of this get-together.

Retake Date
While Cane and Lily fall apart, other pairs heat up, including with Devon (Bryton James) and Elena (Brytni Sarpy). He gets right back on the horse and takes her out for another date. Is it too soon, though?
After all, he’s grieving for not one, but two people now. And, he might spiral out of control once again.
