A simple dinner out brings up a lot of old feeling between Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) and Nick (Joshua Morrow). He never quite got over her leaving and she never forgave herself for breaking his heart.
But, alas, it is what it is and they have to let it go. Besides, they have much more important things to talk about — like how did Chelsea manage to hide, fall in love, and get married without anyone finding out.
This is an especially amazing feat considering Chelsea wasn’t really gone all that long, relatively, but somehow this man has already legally adopted Connor.

Her mother is the ultimate scammer so this all comes pretty naturally to Chelsea. In fact, she ran into her mother a few months after making her great escape and they started new lives together.
It turns out it was even Anita who brought Calvin (John Burke) into Chelsea’s life. Not on purpose, though. Anita dated him first but he became smitten with Chelsea pretty quick and the feeling was mutual. They wasted no time hooking up, getting hitched, and having him adopt Connor.
