The Young and the Restless spoilers for Tuesday, July 28 take a stroll down memory lane to April 2, 2004. It’s the day after April Fools’ Day and Victor is about to get a heck of a trick – which Ashley and Nikki try to stop. Meanwhile, Kevin bares his soul to Lauren.
From the Mouths Of Babes
Victor (Eric Braeden) and Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) were married. Victor and Ashley (Eileen Davidson) were having an affair. Ashley got pregnant. Nikki faked a terminal illness. Ashley got an abortion.
The way Ashley saw it a few years later, the universe – and Victor – owed her a baby. So, because Genoa City men are frequent flyers at the local sperm bank, Ashley was able to secretly get her syringe on some Victor sperm and get pregnant with his baby. Brad (Don Diamont) stepped up and gave little Abby a name and a Daddy who loved her.

But when Ashley thought she might die from breast cancer, she recorded a video for Abby, spilling the paternity beans. (That’s how much she respected what you’d done for her and Abby, Brad.)
Ashley recovered and Brad continued raising Abby. Then Nikki found out about the tape. Nikki wanted it destroyed. Ashley had changed her mind as well. Alas, it was too late. Abby watched the tape. And headed straight for Victor’s. Will her mom and stepmom get there in time? (And why is a little girl traipsing around town by herself?)

Because he and Michael (Christian J. LeBlanc) have different last names, Kevin (Greg Rikaart) was able to keep their relationship a secret when he first came to Genoa City. But it turns out the brothers have more in common than just a mother. They both have some pretty shady pasts. And now it’s time for Kevin to make a confession to Lauren (Tracey Bregman).
