The Young and the Restless spoilers for Thursday, July 9, 2020 offer a special treat for fans. The fact is, we often remember the big moments: Weddings, deaths, births, holidays, when, sometimes, it’s the smaller moments that really tell the story.
In this summer fun rerun from June 7, 2001, we see Nick and Sharon at a point when their marriage is not on the rocks, or one of their children on death’s door, while Isabella is quietly scheming to keep Paul and Christine apart.

Sharon (Sharon Case) and Nick (Joshua Morrow) have broken up almost as many times as Nick’s parents by this point. And yet, they keep getting back together. (Just because that’s not the case now, doesn’t mean it won’t be again, just keep watching.) That must mean that something between them works. If only for short periods of time.

This is one of those times. Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) is not snarking at them, Victor (Eric Braeden) isn’t in the hospital, reminding his children that he’s the most important thing in their lives. There is no third party, and no one is harboring a secret that can blow their happy family to kingdom come. It’s just Nick, and Sharon… and a special trip just for the two of them.
When They’re Bad, They’re Better
Isabella (Eva Longoria) would not have needed to try and kill Christine (Lauralee Bell) if the little twit had just backed off and let Isabella, Paul (Doug Davidson) and Ricky be a happy family, damn it!
Everything that happened after Christine refused to let go of Paul was her own fault. That’s not victim-blaming. That’s just stating the facts. Ask Isabella. She had a plan. And things didn’t start going really awry until Christine got in the way of it. The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
