The Young and the Restless Spoilers for Tuesday, September 3, 2019, reveal a day of life-changing choices for your favorite Genoa City friends — with a few surprises along the way.
Sharon (Sharon Case) makes the mistake of being nice to Adam (Mark Grossman) when they run into each other at Crimson Lights and he brandishes her for always being sweet when she so horribly turned down his marriage proposal.
She explains that his proposal was nuts and not something she would ever say yes to, which leaves Adam more bitter than ever.
This sends Adam running to Phyllis (Michelle Stafford), who just finished an odd run-in with Zoe, the vapid young socialite Kyle (Michael Mealor) actually saved from alcohol poisoning who had a business proposal Phyllis laughed at.
With Adam, however, Phyllis commiserates. In fact, they both commiserate and engage in a battle to see how has a worse life and who had a more horrid childhood. An aside: Neither of them had it that bad, they just think they did and keep sabotaging themselves.
Zoe also ingratiates herself into Lola’s (Sasha Calle) life and insisted on taking a picture of her food and selfie with the chef to help her social media presence.
Lola isn’t impressed, but she does suggest to Kyle that they move into a new place so Rey (Jordi Vilasuso) doesn’t have to be reminded he moved out to be with Sharon.
As for Rey, he also has a run-in with Sharon, who seems to have decided she’s had it. She stops by Nick’s (Joshua Morrow) and asks him to watch Faith (Alyvia Alyn Lind) for a bit because she’s going on a trip, but he did not say to where.
