The Young and the Restless spoilers raw breakdown for Friday, February 8 reveal a day of Newman style damage control. Of course, things don’t always go exactly as planned no matter how hard they try.
All anyone can talk about is Victor’s (Eric Braeden) trial – including the media. His case sweeps the nation as everyone waits for The Mustache to hit the courtroom. And Genoa City is glued to the tube for all of this.
A Rocky Marriage
Mia (Noemi Gonzales) couldn’t be more proud of her big, strong husband. He’s the cop who took down a legend and it’ll be a treat to watch him walk Victor into the courtroom.
This leads to a lot of talk about their own relationship. They go over their life together, her affair with Arturo (Jason Canela), and falling back in love.
Expect Rey to put his wife on alert. If she ever strays again, it’ll be the end of their relationship once and for all.

Shame and Guilt
Sharon’s (Sharon Case) guilt ridden over her part in Victor’s arrest. She turns to the only person she can for support – Mariah (Camryn Grimes). Sharon’s astounded by how deep Victor’s love and devotion for Nikki go. Not many men would die in jail for the woman they love.
Distraction Tactics!
Nick (Joshua Morrow) calls a family meeting (sans his parents) to figure out how to help. Everyone will have a job and they’ll all work together to defeat Christine’s case.
Abby (Melissa Ordway) plays the most important public role. She has the daunting task of keeping the media at bay. Thankfully, the savvy Naked Heiress isn’t shy in front of the camera and thinks she has the prefect solution.
