The Young and the Restless spoilers for Tuesday, September 22, 2020, reveal Summer’s secret coming out, a new twist for Amanda, and Adam working to protect Connor.
The Young and the Restless Spoilers Highlights
Amanda (Mishael Morgan) leans on Billy (Jason Thompson) as she opens Hilary’s birth certificate. It’s a good thing too because there is a mystery in there that leaves her with more questions than answers. If Hilary was born in Evanston, Illinois, why was Amanda safely dropped at a fire station in Madison, Wisconsin?
The puzzle leaves Amanda baffled. Perhaps Devon (Bryton James) knows something? Well, if he does, he’s not talking. In fact, he’s over at his place with Nate (Sean Dominic) sharing his plans to cut down on his Amanda time. He’s helped her enough and it’s time to back off.
Luckily, Devon comes to his senses and calls his ex’s twin. But will he have the answers she desperately needs?

Bye, Son
It looks like fans have seen the last of little Connor. At least for a while. His parents give him the boarding school talk today, which isn’t easy on either of them, especially Adam (Mark Grossman). The doting dad is missing huge chunks of time with his kid so sending him across the country isn’t at the top of Adam’s list.
A visit to Society puts all that into perspective. Adam runs into Nick (Joshua Morrow) and Victor (Eric Braeden) and after that, he is more determined than ever to protect his son. He can’t let Victor get his claws into his precious boy.
Summer’s Secret Is Out
Summer (Hunter King) is riding high after her secret engagement and hits the spa for a little me-time. She’s going to need it after running into her mom. Summer makes the mistake of not hiding her ring well enough and Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) spots it. To say things go off the rails is an understatement.
Phyllis has a practical panic attack and tries to talk her daughter out of making such a huge mistake. Why get married now? What’s the rush? Oh, and if Summer thinks her mom’s reaction is bad. Just wait until she accidentally slips about it in front of Nick! The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
