It is the morning of her wedding but Abby (Melissa Ordway) is not hearing wedding bells. Instead, she suffers from an overwhelming sense of dread. She just knows she is going to screw this up. There is no way she is going to let Chance (Justin Gaston) suffer through marrying her.
Her moaning and groaning become too much for Mariah (Camryn Grimes). The maid of honor texts in Ashley (Eileen Davidson) for help. Maybe Abby’s mother can clean up this mess?
Best Mom
As for Chance, he meets with his mom and asks her for a very important favor. He needs a best man. Scratch that, he needs a best MOM. Will she stand with him while he takes a bride? Well, of course, Nina (Tricia Cast) will.

The Ties That Bind
Meanwhile, everyone prepares for the big celebration. Esther (Kate Linder) readies the living room, Jill (Jess Walton) breezes into town, and the Newmans make their way over to the mansion. It is about time all the prominent families in town bask in a celebration.
There is one important person missing (well, besides the bride). In the bridal suite, the ladies reminisce about Abby’s first dad. Oh, how Brad would have loved to be there with her. How sad he died all those years ago.
Nick Wants What He Wants
Nick (Joshua Morrow) has trouble talking Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) into getting dressed. Abby is her enemy so why would she show up? Um, maybe because Nick wants her there. Is that not a good enough reason? No, Nick. It is not.
Second Thoughts
Don’t worry, Red has lots of time to make up her mind. It looks like Abby is not the only one wondering if they are doing the right thing. Chance takes off to see his bride and they share their pre-wedding jitters. Should they walk down the aisle? The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS.
