Calvin’s body is barely even cold and Adam (Mark Grossman) is ready to jump ring back into his old life. Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) is free and he sees no reason they should be apart. They are the love of each other’s lives, right?
That’s not the way Chelsea sees it. First off, she needs to heal from her husband’s death and then figure out her next move.

There is no way she’s ready to bring Connor back into the Newman fold. She went on the run for a reason and being with Adam is not worth the risk or the reward.
(Didn’t she also go on the run because of embezzling money? She was in trouble with the law and trying to escape. What’s changed?)
Can he talk her down and back into his life? He’s gone to great lengths to win her over before and will do it again. This time is different though. This time, Chelsea truly got over him and moved on.
