Mariah (Camryn Grimes) loves Tessa (Cait Fairbanks) and would love nothing more than to jet set away from town to town on an epic music tour. In fact, she hopped on the plane ready to go. Heck, she didn’t even pack a bag. Sadly, her whimsical fantasy comes crashing down when reality hits her right in the face.

A phone call from Faith (Alyvia Alyn Lind) puts a lot into perspective for Mariah. Their mother is going in for another scan to see if the chemo is working. If it is, great! If it’s not, that will be a disaster. Sharon’s entire life, treatment, and medical protocol will change as well as her upbeat outlook. There’s really only so much one woman can take.

As if that’s not bad enough, Faith’s feeling mighty alone as Sharon’s only kid left in town. Noah’s (Robert Adamson) in London and now Mariah’s away. It’s a lot for a teen to take on. Faith’s doing her best to hold down the fort but the stress and pressure are getting to her and Mariah can tell.
