The Young and the Restless spoilers for Tuesday, May 12, 2020, take us back to October 1, 1993, where our second great rivalry is Victor (Eric Braeden) versus Jack (Peter Bergman).
The Young and the Restless Spoilers Highlights
Victor (Eric Braeden) was presumed dead. He’d picked up a hitch-hiker who robbed him, then he died when their car exploded, with Victor’s wallet on him. Victor ended up in the Kansas farmhouse of a blind woman named Hope (Signey Coleman).
Yup, that Kansas farmhouse. Yup, that Hope. The Hope who eventually became Adam’s (Mark Grossman) mother. The Kansas farmhouse where Adam would later kill a guy named AJ, which brings us to the mess we’re in today.
But first, Victor needed to hide out with Hope, pretending to be dead, falling in love with her simple, unspoiled country ways. Translation: She had yet to be disillusioned by Victor, like everyone else in Genoa City.
Meanwhile, Back in the Boardroom
While Victor is away, Jack will play. And by play, we mean, take over Newman Enterprises. Victor wasn’t very happy about that. So he returned to Genoa City.
He reunited with Victoria (Heather Tom) and Nick (Joshua Morrow). And then he went to reveal himself to Jack, who is rattled, to say the least. Tune in on Tuesday to find out how he reacts!
Olivia (Tonya Williams) is back in town, too. Only she hasn’t been faking her death, so people aren’t as shocked. She does tell Nate (Randy Brooks) that she brought her mother, Lilly-Belle, with her. Dru (Victoria Rowell) isn’t going to be happy about it. She blames Lilly-Belle for everything that has ever gone wrong in her life.
Will Dru get over it and eventually forgive her mother? She named her daughter, Lily (Christel Khalil). Go ahead, take a guess. The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
