The Young and the Restless spoilers for Thursday, August 13, 2020 reveal the surprising sight of Victor listening to Jack about how to be a better parent, while Adam cross-examines a farmhand, and Esther wants Kevin to hear what she has to say.
The Young and the Restless: The Parent Trap #1
Jack (Peter Bergman) may not have been the horrible father Victor (Eric Braeden) was. But that’s because Jack has barely done any parenting. Jack met his oldest son, Keemo, as an adult and, since then, has forgotten the Vietnamese love child ever existed. As for Kyle (Michael Mealor), Jack let Diane’s parents do most of the heavy lifting then, when the boy was grown, made him think Jack cared more about his newly discovered half-nephew.
Victor was a crappy dad because he was actually there to bother Victoria (Amelia Heinle) and Nick (Joshua Morrow) their entire lives, Abby (Melissa Ordway) once she blurted out the truth of her paternity as a little girl, and Adam (Mark Grossman) as soon as his mom died. But at least he has some experience. Nonetheless, Jack has advice for him. That’s strange enough. What’s even stranger is that Victor listens.

Esther (Kate Linder) had such bad judgment that she made it so Chloe (Elizabeth Hendrickson) grew up without a father. Nevertheless, she feels qualified to tell Kevin (Greg Rikaart) how to be a good one. This is after he’s been raising Bella for years.
Adam: Back On the Farm
Victor claimed that George the farmhand can confirm his story about Adam killing AJ the loan shark. Adam calls George for a command performance. Question: If Adam believes that Victor faked all the other evidence, why would he believe that George is telling the truth, instead of just being another Victor pay-off? Especially since the info was what Victor wanted Chelsea to tell his son, in the first place. The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
