The Young and Restless spoilers for Monday, August 17, 2020 launch a new week with an old theme: Adam’s problems are more important than anyone else’s. Victor, Chelsea, and Sharon all wrack their brains for ways to put his mind at ease. Plus, Abby lays some truths on Chance.
The Young and the Restless Spoilers Highlights
Victor (Eric Braeden) was so eager to protect Adam (Mark Grossman) from knowing that he killed a man when he was 11 years old that he was willing to take the CEO position of Newman Enterprises away from Victoria (Amelia Heinle) and hand it over to a blackmailing Adam. That’s some stellar parenting there, Vic! A really solid feedback loop.
But when Victoria filled Adam in on what he did, Victor continued to protect his son, even if that meant angering Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott), his wife, and Nick (Joshua Morrow), his other son. No one is more important than Adam!

Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) agrees. No sacrifice is too great to make for Adam’s peace of mind. She and Victor will make sure the rest of Genoa City understands that!
Sharon and Adam: Medical Malpractice
Adam told Nick he would support Sharon (Sharon Case) in her cancer battle. That he wouldn’t put more stress on her. Surely, it wouldn’t be stressful for a woman just out of surgery to help an ex-lover dig up a traumatic memory. That’s a walk at the beach! But, first, Sharon has some ground rules for her new patient.

Abby (Melissa Ordway) had a chance to end her feud with Phyllis (Michelle Stafford). She declined the opportunity. She’s going full speed ahead. Even with dinosaur bones.
