The Young and the Restless spoilers for Monday, May 31, 2021, end the month with some new beginnings, as Kyle and Ashland find out which one of them really fathered Harrison, while Nick and Phyllis worry what that will mean for Summer, and Chelsea considers reneging on her deal with Victor.

The envelope, please… Sally (Courtney Hope) told Ashland (Richard Burgi) where Tara (Elizabeth Leiner) and Harrison were staying in exchange for him arranging a cushy job for Summer (Hunter King)… out of town.
Ashland came storming over to the Abbott mansion to claim his son. Except for Kyle (Michael Mealor) popped up with the results of Harrison’s DNA test. There are two options here:

One) Ashland is the biological father, at which point the Abbotts no longer have any horse in this race; two) Kyle is the biological father, at which point Ashland will do everything he can to destroy the smug little bastard and his entire family, including their company. This is a soap. Hmm, we wonder which story has the most dramatic potential…
The Real Victim
While a small child’s future hangs in the balance, Nick (Joshua Morrow) and Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) fret over the one who is really suffering during all this: Summer (Hunter King).
The idea that their precious girl might not be able to have anything she wants the moment she wants it is heartbreaking to them. What’s the point of being a Newman if you can’t bend reality to your will. You know, like Victor (Eric Braeden) does.
Bargain Basement
Speaking of which, Victor and Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) had a deal. He wanted Adam’s legal woes to end a certain way, and she agreed to go along with it, in order to avoid jail time. But now that Chelsea thinks she might lose her son, will she alter the terms of their agreement? The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
