The Young and the Restless spoilers raw breakdown for Thursday, July 9, 2020, takes another look back at June 2001. This episode re-aired a month ago and if you didn’t get a chance to see it the first two times around, make sure you catch it this time.

The Young and the Restless Spoilers Highlights

It seems Olivia (Tonya Lee Williams) can’t catch a break when it comes to little Nate. She battled Nathan to get him back only to have Malcolm trying to rip him away again. Malcolm may not be his real dad but he’s fighting for his rights nevertheless.

Olivia isn’t looking forward to facing a courtroom and tries to reason with Malcolm. He promises to hold off filing for custody if she does there right thing. He and Nate deserve to be part of each other’s lives whether Liv likes it or not.

Flirting With Disaster

As if that’s not enough drama for the Winters family, Neil (Kristoff St. John) is getting a little too close to a coworker. He and Alex almost share a touching moment before Victor interrupts. It’s a good thing too, because who knows what Neil would do.

Paul’s Much Too Naive

Drama also ensues for the much-too-nice Paul (Doug Davidson). Being married to Christine (Lauralee Bell) doesn’t stop him from inviting Isabella (Eva Longoria) to crash at his house, especially while his wife is away. It’s too bad he doesn’t realize it’s all part of Isabella’s plan. She’ll even make sure to answer when Chris calls to drive Little Miss Wifey away.

They Call It Puppy Love

Love is in the air for Mackenzie (Ashley Bashioum) and Billy (then David Tom). The young couple is finally together, much to Jill’s (Jess Walton) disdain. She despises the girl and wants her out of her son’s life. It’s just too bad it’s not up to her.

Brittany is also not too happy. She thought she had this Mac mess under control and even brags to JT (Thad Luckinbill) about her plan to reclaim her man. Little does she know, it’s a wash. She’s lost him for good this time.

A Night Of Passion

Sharon (Sharon Case) and Nick (Joshua Morrow) also turn up the heat. They can’t take a trip overseas so he brings overseas her. Nick sets up an Arabian Nights-inspired tent right on the ranch and treats her to a night fit for a queen. The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS.
