The Young and the Restless spoilers for Friday, September 20, 2019 reveal a shocking day for Devon as he comes face to face with a woman who looks exactly like Hilary, while Chelsea discusses boundaries with Adam, and Phyllis puts Genoa City on notice.
Face-Off
Devon (Bryton James) was prepared for a lawyer to come to his door and explain why Kay’s (Jeanne Cooper) will was being challenged.
Devon was not prepared for a lawyer to come to his door to explain why Kay’s will is being challenged… and to look exactly like his late wife, Hilary. (The reason for that is because Mishael Morgan is playing both roles.)
What are the odds of this happening? Are the women related? Is it just a coincidence? Is it part of the plot to rob Devon blind… and maybe something more.
Stand Back
Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) and Nick (Joshua Morrow) are convinced that Adam (Mark Grossman) is the cause of Victor’s (Eric Braeden) death. They’ve told Paul (Doug Davidson) and Rey (Jordi Vilasuso) to run along and arrest him.
Nick also told Chelsea (Melissa Claire) that she shouldn’t let Adam see Connor (Judah McCay). That’s why, when Adam called and left a message asking to see his son, Chelsea declined to respond.

Adam does not respond well to people declining to respond to him. As a result, he has some choice things to say when Chelsea brings up establishing boundaries.

Summer (Hunter King) told Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) to leave her alone and stop pretending she gives a damn about Victor being dead. Abby (Melissa Ordway) told Phyllis to stop making this all about herself.
Phyllis does not appreciate being spoken to in such a manner, not by her daughter, and definitely not by her former sister-in-law. So Phyllis, as Phyllis is wont to do, strikes back. She puts her partners on notice – there are going to be some changes around here. The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
