The Young and the Restless spoilers for Wednesday, June 24, 2020 continue with the Emmy winners theme by focusing on Bryton James, who won his Emmy for Outstanding Younger Actor in a Drama Series for the October 16, 2006 episode where Devon struggles with his hearing loss. Meanwhile, Jack tries to keep Jill out of Jabot and Victoria looks to help out Brad.

The Young and the Restless Spoilers Highlights

Devon lost his hearing in an accident and now is trying to accept what the rest of his life will be like. A huge blow for a kid who loves music as much as Devon. Dru (Victoria Rowell), Neil (Kristoff St. John), and Lily are there for him, of course, but there really is nothing they can do to make the situation better.

Devon rants and raves and suffers. Luckily, this is one of those temporary deafness situations. Once the dramatic and Emmy winning possibilities have been exhausted, Devon receives a cochlear implant and it works so well that he is able to go into the music industry without any problems. Heck, no one even mentions it anymore.

Over My Dead Dad’s Body

Jack (Peter Bergman) has wanted to run Jabot since before John (Jerry Douglas) appeared in Genoa City. Now that he’s gone, Jack assumes the family company is finally his. Not so fast! Jill (Jess Walton), who was married to John and also bore him a son, so she figures she has just as much right to sit in the big chair. Let the games begin!

Help To a Friend

Brad (Don Diamont) is keeping secrets. He’s got some big ones! Victoria (Amelia Heinle) wants to help. Sure, she’s prying, and sure, she’s putting her own family in danger. But she’s Victor’s (Eric Braeden) daughter. Which means she gets what she wants. Everything else is details. The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS.
