The Young and the Restless spoilers for Wednesday, October 7, 2020, reveal Abby’s confusion, Chance’s assertion, and Mariah as the voice of reason, which seems to be her Genoa City job of late.

Just a discussion about kids, maybe, one day with Chance (Donny Boaz) has Abby (Melissa Ordway) on edge but she has Mariah there as a sounding board at the Society bar. She tells Mariah (Camryn Grimes) all about the conversation about planning to have children one day in the future, but she’s not quite sure that convo was even a good idea.
Mariah, who desperately needs a storyline that doesn’t involve her doling out advice to everyone in GC who needs it, tells Abby to not let a good thing go and assures her that Chance is a really good thing. (Well, except for his friendship with Adam.)

When Chance arrives at Society, he can’t wait to talk kids again but Abby is not so sure. Maybe they shouldn’t have had their previous discussion. Maybe they are not on the same page at all and could be in different stages of their lives. After all, Abby has been burned way too many times before and even lost a child later in pregnancy when she was married to Stitch (Sean Carrigan).
Being burned by Arturo (Jason Canela) didn’t help much and she swore off men, only to have a dull, directionless romance with Nate (Sean Dominic). But things seem to be working out with Chance. So much so that he confesses he is falling madly in love with her.
Well, those words shock Abby to her core. It also turns out she likes those words and asks Chance if they can go back to his hotel suite so she can hear those words in private. Chance is game and may have just won himself a baby mama. The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
