The Young and the Restless recap (YR) for Monday, February 19 features shocking secrets bubbling to the surface leaving some Genoa City residents up in arms.
No Baby
Hilary (Mishael Morgan) suffered a massive disappointment when the clinic called with her test results – she’s not pregnant. It was quite the blow, causing her to brreak down in tears as she shared her devastating news with Jack.
As always, Hilary showed what a resilient woman she is by looking at the upside to it all. Having a baby with a donor isn’t the way to go. She and Jack (Peter Bergman) agreed its time for her to come clean to Devon and see if there’s a chance they can work it all out.
Unfortunately, fate had a different plan for Hil.
The Confession Tape
While Hil was licking her wounds, Devon (Bryton James) was exposing her secret tape to Lily and Cane.
The explosive contents not only proved at least some of Cane’s innocence, but Hilary’s true colors.
When the trio found Hilary at Hamilton-Winters the confrontation rocked her world. Not only did Devon call off any hope for their future but Cane (Daniel Goddard) and Lily (Christel Khalil) banned her from ever seeing baby Sam again.
Relentless Investigations
It took Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) quite some time to process Chelsea’s earth-shattering confession, but she couldn’t wrap her head around it being true. She’s determined to get to the bottom of things even Billy’s (Jason Thompson) insistence she let it go does little to dissuade her.

Life Moves Fast
Of course, talking with Phyllis was the last thing on Sharon’s mind when she left for work in the morning. Noah’s (Robert Adamson) disappearance to Mumbai weighed heavily on her heart. However, he’s not the only man she’s worried about.
Sharon (Sharon Case) opened up to Nick (Joshua Morrow) about his upcoming wedding. Marriage wasn’t on the radar until Chelsea popped the question and she wondered if Nick was moving too fast. Her gut is telling her something’s off.
A World Shaken
Sadly, Sharon found out just how right she was over coffee with Phyllis. Hearing the truth about Christian was like being hit by a truck. She suffered through losing the baby last year and now it seems Nick will suffer the exact same way.
A Big Compromise
Back at the penthouse, Nick made it clear he wouldn’t marry Chelsea without a proper union. They agreed to a summer wedding with the promise they’d start the adoption process right away.
