The Young and the Restless recap for Thursday, June 7 highlights Jack’s struggle over Dina’s salacious past, Nick’s struggle to secure his future and a whole lot of trouble at the Ashby house!
Fighting For Love
Sharon (Sharon Case) decided to sacrifice herself to keep Nick (Joshua Morrow) and Christian together. She knows full well The Mustache will hold her past against them in court and doesn’t want to be the cause of Nick losing his son.
Nick turned to his mother for support but it didn’t go the way he thought. Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) claimed to be on his side but she warned Nick that Victor wasn’t backing down. He’s already lost a son and a grandson and isn’t going to let him disappear with Adam’s son. She urged Nick to take a page out of Victor’s book and fight like a Newman.
Of course, Nick wasn’t one to play dirty and decided to keep on the legal route. A meeting with Brittney and a later with Michael (Christian LeBlanc) had Nick agreeing to arbitration.
Troubling Teens
Charlie and Shauna’s plan blew wide open when they slept through their alarm and Lily caught them! While she and Cane were both furious to find Shaun in Charlie’s bed they did consider the circumstances.
It led to a few serious chats but inevitably they decided to help out the young girl and provide a roof over her head.

However, things worked out even better for Shauna when Hilary got involved. She decided to open her and Devon’s home and keep a close eye on her protege.
Who’s My Dad?
A visit to the Abbott mansion brought Jack (Peter Bergman) close to Dina (Marla Adams). The two shared a few hours together as Dina spilled all the details she could remember about how Jack came to be.
Unfortunately, while Dina remembered all the details of her affair from beginning to end she still couldn’t recall the gentleman’s name, his profession, or any details on what he looked like. It seems Jack’s dad will remain a mystery, at least for now.
Jack ended his day at the club chatting it up with Nick over drinks and spilling his tale of woe. It was the first time Nick found out about Jack’s paternity and the shocker nearly took Nick’s breath away.
