The Young and the Restless spoilers breakdown for Tuesday, September 11 promise disaster striking for more than on Newman on Nick’s big day!
Everything’s Lining Up!
It’s the day of Dark Horse’s launch party, and Nick (Joshua Morrow) is ready to bask in the glow of his effort.
The building is ready, the company is growing faster than he ever imagined, and he’s engaged to the woman of his dreams (again). He has everything he ever wanted — at least for now.
The day should be packed full of good cheer, but tension and tempers rise all over town. A confrontation between Arturo (Jason Canela) and Rey (Jordi Vilasuso) causes fireworks at Crimson Lights. The brothers have it out in front of everyone — including Tessa and Mariah.
It looks like that battle will also bleed into the girls’ relationship when they have a face-off of their own. Mariah (Camryn Grimes) calls Tessa (Cait Fairbanks) out on her behavior, and point blank asks if she’s being used.
When Tessa denies the allegation, Mariah hits her with a bombshell, demanding proof that Tessa is actually being blackmailed. If Tessa can’t produce evidence, Mariah will have no choice but to walk away.
Thankfully, Mariah has an easy out: She has to cover the Dark Horse party. It’ll be her first solo exclusive story since Hilary’s death and she wants to make it perfect. Little does she know she’s about to get an explosive scoop that would make her old boss drool!
Over at Newman Enterprises, Victoria (Amelia Heinle) and Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) debate over whether or not to go to the party and how they’ll deal with Victor.
To say he’s less than receptive to Nick’s new venture is an understatement and they don’t want to anger the beast.
However, with Rey out there sneaking around one of them has to go and make sure Nick flies under his radar.
However, Victor (Eric Braeden) overhears their chat and decides to join the fun. He’s ready to raise a white flag (or so he says) and be there for his son.
Meanwhile, the Abbotts also gear up for the big evening, but there’s an unexpected hitch in their plans.
Jack (Peter Bergman) will pushes his mom for info on that pic and it doesn’t end well. Kyle (Michael Mealor) has to play hero once again and calm down his grandma before she flies off the handle.
Paying A Debt
Speaking of Kyle, he attends a part of his own — a private one with just him and Summer.
It’s time to settle their debt and he’s ready to collect. He books a room at the club and he wants to make this a night to remember… but will they actually to through with it, or will someone ruin their plans?
A Mind-Blowing Arrest!
Back at Dark Horse, the party gets into full swing as the guests mix, mingle, drink, and chat up Nick’s success story.
The cameras get rolling and Mariah interviews GC’s newest super star, but it’s an interview Nick lives to regret. Just after giving his big speech, disaster strikes when Rey arrives and shocks everyone.
It turns out Rey is a cop and really in town investigating JT’s disappearance… and he’s at the party to arrest Nick!
