The Bold and the Beautiful recap for Friday, May 22, 2020, took fans back to December 19, 2013. It was Thorsten Kaye’s first day on screen as Ridge and a start of a new era for Bridge.
The Bold and the Beautiful Recap Highlights
Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) was back and he was ready to take on the world. He had a new lease on life, a clear head, and a fresh look. All he needed was Brooke by his side.
He turned up at the Forrester mansion for a chat with his dad before taking off to find his ex-wife. Eric (John McCook) was gentle but warned him Brooke may not be ready to see him again. However, he did not tell him she was crushing on Bill (Don Diamont). Nope, he left that part out.
Too Many Love Triangles
As for Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang), she was at home with Hope (then-Kim Matula) preparing for the wedding. Tomorrow would be the big day when Hope would become Mrs. Liam Spencer and the Logan ladies could not wait.
Unfortunately, their plans were clouded by a Spencer love triangle, which was also causing problems at the office. Hope may be getting ready to say ‘I do’ to Liam but she was wildly attracted to Wyatt (Darin Brooks) and everyone knew it.

Let The Scheming Begin
In fact, Liam (Scott Clifton) was none-too-pleased that his gal liked his brother and forced her to remove him and Quinn (Rena Sofer) from her line. Hope did it but it was not a good move, at least according to her gut, Eric, and Steffy.
Steffy and Quinn had a deep heart to heart at the international office about what went down. The jewelry was spectacular and Steffy was floored anyone was letting Quinn walk away. But, it was what it was and this was all part of Hope being Hope.
Unless, of course, Quinn could talk Steffy into getting in the way. She implored Steffy to show up at the wedding and break up the hot couple. She could have Liam, Hope could be with Wyatt, and Quinn could have her job back. It was a win-win-win in Quinn’s book.
Bridge Is Back, Baby!
Back at Brooke’s, she reminisced about days gone by. She sat outside staring up at the fountain remembering her romance with Ridge and pining after her ex. Lo and behold, there he was! They met in the middle of the staircase and shared one of their most passionate kisses. The Bold and the Beautiful (BB) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
