The Young and the Restless (YR) has had its share of schemers and scammers and Chelsea’s one of the sneakiest. From her money grabbing pregnancy game to now hoarding loads of cash in Adam’s grave, she’s always had some shady tricks up her sleeve.
Saving For a Rainy Day
Of course, Chelsea’s (Melissa Claire Egan) mad money didn’t just come out of thin air. It would have had to come from somewhere–and while some fans think it was a leftover stash of Adam’s, we think there’s a bigger and badder story behind it all.
Ripping Off The System
It seems like the timing of the Fenmore’s store hack lines up a little too well with the reveal of Chelsea’s bankroll. While she’s not known for being a coding genius, she has some friends in low places who’d know how to set it up.
It doesn’t help her case that the dresses are made in classic Chelsea 2.0 fashion. The top-notch stitching, luxurious fabrics, and even signature label prove it’s an inside job and no one is more in the loop than the designer herself!
Ready to Run
Things just aren’t adding up the way they should.

Chelsea’s nonchalant attitude about the rip-off puts her in the spotlight and begs the question of what she’s planning to do with all the illicit dough. It’s no secret she’s getting bored of her vanilla life with Nick (Joshua Morrow) and is craving some rocky road.
A Family Reunion
Could it be Adam’s still alive and Chelsea’s planning on a great escape to be with him and live a whole new life?
There’s no doubt if Adam’s alive she’d grab their son (and maybe Christian too) and go on the run. They’re both masters at living off the radar and with all that hidden cash, they’d get away with it for a very long time.
