Scenes from Genoa City: Monday, October 5, 2026
Last week, Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) made a pitch to Cane (Billy Flynn). She wanted to buy some of his properties. The same ones he acquired when he was still Aristotle Dumas. He bought the Genoa City Athletic Club and other strategic buildings to help him crush the legacy companies that have been in business for decades.
Now that Phyllis owns Arabesque, she wants to buy some of those properties, including the GCAC. She seems to have her own grand scheme brewing. She wouldn’t really fill Cane in. But he promised to think about it. And when he talked to Lily (Christel Khalil), he made it seem like he would unload his real estate investments to help Phyllis out. They didn’t really mean anything to him, so why not make some money off this deal?
He also seemed really curious as to what Phyllis would do with those properties in her Arabesque portfolio. On Monday, the teasers reveal that Phyllis seals the deal, which must mean Cane agrees to sell to her. Additionally, she gets to talk to Daniel again. He recently showed his mother that he hadn’t given up on them. Is that about to continue, or will Daniel (Michael Graziadei) be suspicious of his mother’s latest moves?
In the image above, Detective Burrow (Matt Cohen) stops by the Newman Ranch, where he encounters Adam (Mark Grossman), who has been deeply concerned for his brother during his post-rehab era. Burrow will probably talk to Victor (Eric Braeden) as well.
This has to be about Nick (Joshua Morrow) and his quest to bring down the dealer who supplied Marie (Jade Harlow) with the pills before her latest overdose. Nick has made this his mission and is willing to do whatever it takes to get that dealer.
And his knuckles show exactly how far he’s willing to go. On Monday, the teasers suggest that Victor plays his cards close to the vest to protect Nick. So Adam may be doing the same thing with the detective because, whether Nick likes it or not, his family is trying to protect and save him.
