The Shadow Room has entered a brand-new era already. The club wasn’t open for long before Noah (Lucas Adams) and Sienna (Tamara Braun), the owners, hightailed it out of town to get away from Matt Clark (Roger Howarth). Noah tapped Danny (Michael Damian) to run the joint in his absence. But this week, we learned that Danny is now 50% owner of the establishment.
And on Thursday, it’s the site of a joyful reunion featuring Traci (Beth Maitland), Christine (Lauralee Bell), and Nina (Tricia Cast). We haven’t seen Nina in town since last November, when Christine and Danny were married.
But in Y&R’s weekly video preview, her presence is a bit of a surprise to Traci, who tells Christine she’s happy for a night out after everything the Abbotts have been through and are still experiencing.
Of course, there was the whole Patty Williams (Stacy Haiduk) saga, in which Traci confronted Martin Laurent (Christopher Cousins), the man who had deceived and hurt her so badly. And now, Billy (Jason Thompson) is laying claim to Chancellor, which is stirring up a massive amount of family chaos.
Meanwhile, Nina needs this night out with the girls as much as anyone. After all, it wasn’t long ago she lost her son, Chance (Conner Floyd), who was killed a little over a year ago. He was one of the casualties of Cane’s (Billy Flynn) South of France debacle. This reunion with her friends will hopefully help her with her pain and grief.
