Matt (Roger Howarth, a 2026 Daytime Emmy nominee) and Cane (Billy Flynn) get some more face time together at the GCAC bar. Although this time around, Matt is probably not trying to impress Cane on Victor’s orders, because right now, he’s in the midst of bucking said orders— every Newman’s orders, really.
He has decided not to leave town. And he’s no longer wearing the ankle monitor or living on Victor’s property. So maybe Matt decides to be more honest with Cane than ever before. The photos also show Adam (Mark Grossman) stopping by the bar. Something tells us that won’t be a pleasant chat.
Speaking of unpleasant conversations, it looks like Adam and Sally (Courtney Hope) are about to have one of those as well. This will most likely have to do with the deal that Adam and Sally made. Adam bought Newman Media from Sally and Audra (Zuleyka Silver). But told his dad that he snatched it away from her, no strings and no compensation.
While Adam and Sally’s conversation doesn’t look like a barrel of laughs, the tension gets cranked up when Billy (Jason Thompson) enters the picture. The tense vibes seem to increase in the photo of Billy and Sally confronting each other, with Adam no longer in the scene. It looks like Billy might have some explaining to do.
