Poor Reed (Tristan Lake Leabu) is blindsided when he learns the woman who raised him won’t be around any longer. JT (Thad Luckinbill) and Mac’s separation hits the teen hard and he has trouble processing losing his stepmom. Sure, the family promises she’ll always be part of his life, but he doubts they’ll ever be as close as they once were.
Reed Goes OFf the Rails
The news causes Reed to act out in the most dangerous ways. The already-slightly wayward teen goes off the rails and begins partying and drinking to try to tame the pain.
One particular drunken binge will change Reed’s life forever!
Reed Drinks and Drives!
While attending a party with Mattie (Lexi Stevenson), Reed has a few too many and makes the most dangerous call of all! Despite his friends trying to take his car keys, he sneaks out of the house party and gets behind the wheel!

It’s only by sheer luck the police put a stop to the teen’s erratic driving before anyone gets hurt. It’s a scary situation that could have cost people their lives. As we know, Genoa City as lost enough teens to drunk driving accidents!
Reed’s In BIG Trouble!
Reed’s nightmare won’t end with him in handcuffs. This is a wakeup call for his entire family and his parents won’t him to get off scot-free. Come hell or high water, they’re going to straighten out their son once and for all!
