The Young and the Restless spoilers for Monday, August 3, bring Mariah home to Genoa City… and back into Devon’s orbit.

Key Takeaways

  • Mariah faces her past.
  • Sharon supports Noah.
  • Nikki and Victor re-negotiate terms.

Will Mariah Fit Back In?

Mariah (Camryn Grimes) has been away for months, working through what drove her to kidnap Dominic (Ethan Ray Allen). She walked away from Tessa (Cait Fairbanks) and Aria, and barely kept in touch with her mom. At one point, Mariah only wanted to punish herself.

Now, she may face further punishment from Devon (Bryton James), who can’t get past what Mariah did. Anymore than she can. But will Abby (Melissa Ordway) be able to forgive? And if she can’t, is there anything left for Mariah, now that she’s decided her wife and daughter are better off without her?

Noah Gets a Pep Talk From Sharon

Sharon (Sharon Case) goes further back with Matt (Roger Howarth) than even Sienna (Tamara Braun) does. And certainly further back than Noah (Lucas Adams). That’s why she’s the perfect person to advise her son about how to deal with the psychopath who appears unable to exit their lives.

Matt wants Sienna to be a part of his redemption arc. Noah wants Sienna to have nothing to do with Matt. What will Sharon suggest?

Nikki and Victor Prepare to Repeat Their Greatest Mistakes

Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) and Victor (Eric Braeden) have decided to give their marriage yet another try. (We’ve lost count of how many times this is.) Victor agreed to forgive Jack (Peter Bergman) for saving his wife’s life and allow Nikki to continue seeing her old friend. He is truly a prince among men.

And to demonstrate that Nikki is his once again, Victor suggests another wedding ceremony. After all, getting married is the thing they do best. It’s staying married that they find challenging.
