The Young and the Restless spoilers for Thursday, July 11, bring Devon and Nate together to outsmart Billy. But what will they do with the other twenty-three hours and thirty minutes of their day?
Blink, and You’ll Miss It
Billy (Jason Thompson) always knows he’s the smartest person in the room. Even when all the evidence suggests otherwise. He’s a rich, straight, white man. Obviously, he knows best. This is why he was happy to agree to Lily’s (Christel Khalil) plan to split his mother’s company from the one Devon (Bryton James) runs.
Now Billy can add Abbott to Chancellor (without the pesky Winters to distract from Billy…er, Jill’s [Jess Walton] accomplishments) and do everything his way. It briefly crossed Billy’s mind that Lily, Devon, and Nate (Sean Dominic) might be playing him. But then he thought, nah, they wouldn’t dare. I’m too smart! Well, guess what, Billy Boy? They do. And you’re not.
Third Wheel
Billy knows what he wants. Devon and Nate know what they want. Lily is the big question mark. She’s been playing her cards to the vest for weeks, telling Billy one thing, her brother and cousin another.
Lily came back from visiting Mattie to find out that Daniel (Michael Graziadei) had cheated on her with Heather (Vail Bloom). After that, she decided to stop playing Ms. Nice Gal. So Lily has us wondering what her latest risky move means — even if the men in her life are clueless.
Pleasing All of the People All of the Time
Ever since Victor (Eric Braeden) made clear to Claire (Hayley Erin) how she’s expected to think, feel, and behave as a Newman, the girl who grew up being brow-beaten by one relative has been struggling with how she’s supposed to please another one. Maybe the solution is just to align herself with an Abbott…?
