Victoria, Cole, and Claire sure looked like the picture of a happy family on the September 16 episode of The Young and the Restless, didn’t they? (And, oh, yeah, Kyle was also there.) Victor isn’t going to like that. Victor specifically told Cole to stay away from his daughter, you got that? What will Victor do when he finds out he was disobeyed? Has he finally gone too far — and will he end up paying for it in a way Victor never imagined?
My Way or the Highway
Victor (Eric Braeden) honestly thought that telling Cole (J. Eddie Peck — here’s what you should know) that he wasn’t allowed to see Victoria (Amelia Heinle) would be the end of that. Kudos to Braeden for capturing Victor’s delusional sense of importance brilliantly. And kudos to Peck for keeping from laughing at the empty threat.
Instead, Cole politely told his ex-father-in-law he wouldn’t stay away from Victoria. And then, as if he doesn’t know he’s on a soap opera, Cole instantly told Victoria (Amelia Heinle) about Victor’s edict. Victoria laughed. And then she jumped into bed with Cole. So, clearly, neither one is taking Victor seriously in this.

Act Two
How will Victor react when he finds out that Cole refused to obey him and that Victoria KNEW Victor didn’t want her with Cole…and yet she went there anyway? He’ll be very, very miffed. He will let Victoria know how miffed he is. There may be threats and even worse.
Victor will expect Victoria to fall into line. But she has already demonstrated that she has no intention of doing so. After all, Victoria is an adult, so why would her father tell her who she can and can’t date?
Right Back At You
If Victor keeps pushing it, Victoria may get so fed up that she’ll turn on her Daddy once and for all. And that doesn’t just mean Cole. It also means Billy (Jason Thompson).
If Victoria decides to tell Billy what Victor and Lily (Christel Khalil) are planning for him, she may prove, once and for all, that she’s her own woman. Victor will feel so betrayed. And we’ll be the ones getting the last laugh.
