Once Cane was back on-screen, that would no longer be allowed. Cane had to lose everything. But he’s about to get it back. Lily (Christel Khalil) offered Cane the chance to run Chancellor with her. So now he can be out there, wheeling, dealing, and getting his way. Maybe even from Victor.
