It’s been a month since Mariah (Camryn Grimes) accepted the plea deal and checked into a mental health facility. Since then, she’s been MIA, but this week she returns when Devon (Bryton James) visits her at the facility.
The two have much to discuss regarding Dominic’s (Ethan Ray Clark) kidnapping. Mariah will apologize and fill Devon in on the progress she’s making in therapy. But Devon won’t be so sympathetic.
He’s been filled with anger towards Mariah and won’t hold back in expressing his feelings. But his next move is the one that’ll stun her. Devon hands Mariah an envelope, that might contain a restraining order or another appeal about her sentencing.
Whatever it is, it’s bound to cause a setback in Mariah’s recovery. And lead to more trouble between Devon and Abby (Melissa Ordway).

Elsewhere, a gloomy Daniel (Michael Graziadei) is sitting at the GCAC bar. Christine (Lauralee Bell) soon joins her stepson and notices his solemn mood.
When Christine asks if something’s wrong, Daniel replies by asking if she’s heard from his dad. Danny’s (Michael Damian) lack of contact will worry Christine and Daniel, who’ll immediately begin searching for him.
Danny’s disappearance happens to coincide with Matt (Roger Howarth) escaping again. Could Phyllis’ (Michelle Stafford) new friend be the reason her ex-husband is missing?
No Longer Needed
Phyllis’ friend and lawyer, Michael (Christian LeBlanc), has his hands full dealing with her mounting legal crises. Aside from her legal battle with Victor (Eric Braeden), Phyllis could also face charges for harboring Matt.
When Michael meets with Phyllis to discuss their legal strategies, she ambushes him by telling him that he’s fired. This leads to an argument, and Michael wonders what Phyllis is up to.
Most of the time, when Phyllis does things her way, it ends up backfiring. So, she might not want to be so quick in dismissing Michael.
A Dangerous Plan
Kyle (Michael Mealor) is upset that Patty (Stacy Haiduk) is still in town. After causing Jack (Peter Bergman) and Diane’s (Susan Walters) marriage to crumble, he’d love nothing more than to see Miss Williams gone. However, he’ll be seeing more of her thanks to his dad.
Jack wants revenge against Victor for the kidnapping and destroying his marriage. To do that, he’s using Patty as part of his plot.
When Kyle catches wind of Jack’s idea, he confronts his father. Kyle’s worst fears will be confirmed when Jack admits he’s involving Patty in his scheme.
The father and son will disagree about the plan, and Kyle will express worry. Jack will claim he has complete control over the situation. But as seen in the past with Patty, he might want to be careful about double-crossing her.
