June 8-12 will be filled with a scheme, celebration, and a return on The Young and the Restless. Spoilers for this week’s video previews that Noah prepares for his big venture, while Victor plots against one of his enemies. Here’s a glimpse of what’s ahead.
Key Takeaways
- Victor and Matt discuss their plot against Cane.
- Genoa City gathers for the grand opening of The Shadow Room.
- Malcolm’s return sets up a new dynamic with him and Holden.
Next On…
Victor’s (Eric Braeden) attitude towards Matt (Roger Howarth) has softened after Mr. Clark saved Nick’s (Joshua Morrow) life. Matt is showing remorse for his past crimes and wants a chance to redeem himself. Victor agreed to give him a chance, but the mustache’s plan could have Matt doing more harm than good.
Matt meets with Victor to ask when they’re going to start the plan for Matt to get Cane (Billy Flynn). Victor replies, “Soon,” and Matt makes it clear he’s ready whenever Victor is.
It seems like Victor hasn’t forgotten that Cane was the reason he lost Newman Enterprises in the first place. With Victor set out for revenge, one must wonder what he and Matt have in store for Mr. Ashby. Plus, there’s also the question of whether Victor and Matt can trust each other.
Genoa City’s Newest Hangout
Genoa City’s elite gather for the grand opening of the town’s newest hangout. Noah (Lucas Adams) took Sienna’s (Tamara Braun) LA nightclub, The Shadow Room, and brought it to GC. He put in a lot of hard work to make it happen. Now it’s time for the grand opening.
On hand to celebrate is Sharon (Sharon Case), who toasts to her son’s success. The guests cheer as the party gets underway, with guests such as Holden (Nathan Owens), Claire (Hayley Erin), and Audra (Zuleyka Silver) in attendance.
Although it’s supposed to be a fun and festive occasion, there’s bound to be some drama. Could The Shadow Room’s grand opening end up being a disaster?
Malcolm Comes Home
Malcolm’s (Shemar Moore) been on the mend since his bone marrow transplant. While he’s been in New York, Holden and Stephanie (Vivica A. Fox) returned to Genoa City. This week, the family has a reunion when Malcolm surprises them with his appearance.
“Whoa, can I get some of that?” Malcolm asks as he enters the Chancellor Park cafe. Stephanie immediately hugs Malcolm as Holden and Claire look on.
Malcolm didn’t have much of a chance to connect with Holden because of his health. But now that Malcolm feels better, he’s ready to build a relationship with his newfound son.
Holden might not be the only person Malcolm wants to connect with. Stephanie’s been by Malcolm’s side during his latest health crisis, and it might have sparked old feelings between the former couple.
