- Matt watches as Nick passes out.
- Chelsea worries when Adam returns without Nick.
Next On…
After discovering Matt (Roger Howarth) has captured Sharon (Sharon Case) and Noah (Lucas Adams), Nick (Joshua Morrow) and Adam (Mark Grossman) set out to rescue them. As the brothers rush to the location, Nick has a pain flare up. Although Nick’s been trying to keep his painkiller addiction a secret, his family already knows.
As Nick’s pain worsens, Adam tells him to take a pill. “It’s obvious you need it. Go ahead,” he orders his brother.
Although Nick doesn’t want to discuss his addiction, it’s something he and Adam will have to address. But first, the brothers have more pressing matters on their hands.
Nick Collapses
Adam and Nick finally reach the abandoned gas station to find Sharon and Noah. However, their rescue attempt takes a frightening turn when Nick collapses. Sharon and Noah look on in horror as Adam tries to wake his brother.
Elsewhere, Matt sits in his car watching a video of the action unfolding. Mr. Clark smiles gleefully as he declares, “Little rich boy Newman finally hit the bag from the bad batch.”
If Matt wanted to destroy Nick’s life, he certainly has succeeded. It was because of Matt that Nick crashed his car and injured his leg, resulting in his addiction. Now Matt’s used Nick’s weakness to his advantage and it could lead to more tragedy for the Newmans.
Deliverer Of Bad News
Things are looking gloomy for Nick and it’s not a good sign when Adam returns to the hotel alone. While Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) is relieved to see Adam, she then becomes worried. Her concern increases when she asks about Nick, and Adam has a solemn expression.
Adam will unfortunately have bad news to share with Chelsea. Nick’s overdose possibly lands in the hospital fighting for his life while Matt’s still on the loose.
Adam will feel a mixture of emotions, including guilt for telling Nick to take the fatal pills. But Adam will also be angry and eager to get his hands on Matt for hurting his brother.
