The Young and the Restless spoilers for Friday, July 17, disappoint the audience when Nikki agrees to give Victor another chance… and sweep his latest bad deeds under the rug. Plus, Matt Clark manages to sow chaos for Noah and Sienna.
Key Takeaways
- Victor and Nikki let bygones be bygones.
- Matt messes with Noah and Sienna.
- Lily and Nate confront Devon.
Victor Asks Nikki to Choose Their Marriage
Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) apologized to Jack (Peter Bergman) for everything Victor (Eric Braeden) did to him and Diane (Susan Walters) by bringing Patty (Stacy Haiduk) to town. Jack begged her not to make him be the one to ship her and Victor’s reunion. And yet he did it anyway. Clearly, Jack doesn’t care about Nikki as much as he claims.
So when Victor offered Nikki a fresh start, she forgives him everything, and he forgives her for… taking so long to do it. Yay, they’re back together! How will Victor abuse Nikki next?
Matt Sets His Sights on Noah and Sienna
Matt (Roger Howarth) tried to kill Nick (Joshua Morrow), Sharon (Sharon Case), Adam (Mark Grossman), and Sienna (Tamara Braun) multiple times. But Victor has decided it’s more important to stick it to Cane (Billy Flynn), so Matt is free to walk around Genoa City, doing whatever he likes, as long as it doesn’t hurt Victor.
Everyone else is fair game for the possibly reformed evildoer. Even Victor’s grandson, Noah (Lucas Adams). So Matt has a big day of taunting planned.
Lily and Nate Fear Devon Is Heading Down the Wrong Path
Abby (Melissa Ordway) told Jack that Devon (Bryton James) is going through a hard time post-Dominic’s (Ethan Ray Allen) kidnapping, and on top of Lily (Christel Khalil) taking over Chancellor. Lily has seen it, too.
So she and Nate (Sean Dominic) worry about Devon. But Devon doesn’t need their concern, and he’s not about to do anything differently. So it will likely all be for nothing.
