The Young and the Restless spoilers for Monday, July 13 look back as the Abbott sisters remember the good — and the not-so-good — old days.

Key Takeaways

  • Ashley remembers the past with Traci and Lauren
  • Diane refuses to leave Jack’s side
  • Billy and Kyle feel sorry for themselves

Next on The Young and the Restless

Ashley (Eileen Davidson) returned to Genoa City when she heard that Jack (Peter Bergman) had been stabbed, but as there is nothing for her to do on that end, she passes her time with Traci (Beth Maitland) and Lauren (Tracey Bregman). Those two had a major rivalry going back in the day. (Ice cream may have been dumped on somebody’s head.) Ashley wasn’t really involved. But she can talk about it with them. Especially since it’s all water under the bridge now.

Stand By Your Man

Diane (Susan Walters) is tough! Patty (Stacy Haiduk) stabbed her in the neck, she collapsed, and now she’s back on her feet… and urging Jack to recover fully, as well. He was stabbed by Patty, too. And she is determined to finish the job. Otherwise, Jack can testify and make sure she’s put away — again. Patty didn’t enjoy prison. Or the loony bin. She has no intention of going back. And she doesn’t care who she has to kill to make it happen. It’s a sacrifice she is willing to make. And, if not her, then what is Dr. Markham (Jere Burns) for, after all?

Sad Sacks

Billy (Jason Thompson) is still in a snit over his mommy telling him that Jill (Lauren Koslow) is sorry for her past bad parenting, but he has to take responsibility for his own life choices eventually. Meanwhile, Kyle (Michael Mealor) doesn’t appreciate being sent back to the kiddie table when his parents and aunts make the big decisions. Why does no one respect Kyle and Billy and their authority? Maybe it’s the whining, guys?
