The Young and the Restless spoilers for Monday, July 20, put Adam and Sally into close proximity, as he stands his ground about not letting Victor destroy her. Plus, Jack drives Victor and Nikki further apart as Nick vows not to forgive Matt.
Key Takeaways
- Can Sally trust Adam?
- Jack gets between Nikki and Victor.
- Nick won’t forgive Matt.
Adam’s Loyalty Could Change Everything for Sally
Sally (Courtney Hope) and Audra (Zuleyka Silver) came to Victor (Eric Braeden) with a proposal. Victor made grumbling noises. Adam (Mark Grossman) already told his dad that he’s Team Sally. Adam sent the same message to Sally.
But will making everybody happy mean Adam and Sally working together? And, if they do, can she trust him not to break her heart again? And how will Billy (Jason Thompson) feel about it? He knows Sally is only with him because of what Adam did. She said she’d never forgive him. But….
Victor Can’t Let Go of Nikki’s Bond With Jack
Victor was furious to learn that Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) dared visit Jack (Peter Bergman) in the hospital, and wished her friend (and ex-husband) well. As long as Nikki has any kind of feelings for Jack, Victor refuses to forgive her.
Does Nikki not know her Ten Commandments? It so very, very clearly says: Thou shalt have no gods before Victor. What? That’s not what it says? It should. Or else Victor will yell. Again. So when he finds out that Nikki is STILL concerned, there’s going to be hell to pay!
Nick Refuses to Let Matt Walk Away Without Consequences
Victor is yelling at a pregnant woman, chastising his visually impaired wife, and yet he still finds time to free killer con Matt (Roger Howarth). Because Victor is a giver. He assumes he can control Matt. And Matt has promised to be a good boy moving forward.
Except that Nick doesn’t trust Victor. Or believe him. Nick’s going to make Matt pay. No matter what his daddy says.
