Kyle Abbott surprised all on The Young and the Restless last week when he actually went through with his marriage to Summer AND made it official by sleeping with her — something very few expected.
In fact, he even seemed pretty sincere when he said those vows, despite reminding Mariah later that he only married Summer to save Lola’s life.
And sure, poor Lola was waiting by the phone for Kyle to call the whole time and he even ignored her call during the ceremony.
If the entire thing seemed weird to us, it seemed even weirder to the citizens of Genoa City as Kyle spent weeks praying for Lola’s survival and declaring his undying love for her.
It also seems the fandom is split on who the no-longer-eligible Abbott belongs with, as evidenced by Michael Mealor asking if people are Team Skyle or Team Kola in a social media post this past weekend.

Fans have some pretty passionate opinions, with some tired of the way Lola always found a problem with Kyle’s money and others sick of how selfish Summer can be.
Let’s not forget there is a long history between Kyle and Summer than Kyle and Lola, but that doesn’t mean Kyle didn’t find the love of his life in this up and coming chef.
