There’s a new, hot Rey of light on The Young and the Restless, played by Emmy-winner Jordi Vilasuso.

He told Victoria (Amelia Heinle) that he’s a credit card debt-collector, and Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) worried that he’ll figure out JT (Thad Luckinbill) wasn’t the one to last use his credit cards… primarily because he’s six feet under (they think).

Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) ordered Sharon (Sharon Case) to learn more, so she invited Rey over for dinner. Which was interrupted by a lurking Tessa (Cait Fairbanks). Rey pulled out his gun.

And now we know why. He’s a cop hired by Paul and has now arrested Nick. While this would put him on Sharon’s bad side, things may change when he learns what Nick did with Phyllis on the kitchen island.

There’s quite a bit here for Sharon to unpack. Might she fall for Rey along the way? Some 8,000 viewers think they see the light!

No Nick
Nick (Joshua Morrow) have already failed at marriage… multiple times. Why should this go around be any different? Especially since Nick already cheated on Sharon with Phyllis.

Sooner or later, Sharon will find out, and she’ll throw Nick out, and she’ll rebound. And who will be standing there? Rey, that’s who, 57% of you are certain of it. Sharon falls in love easily. And usually with the person closest to her. Hey, Rey.

You Gotta Have Faith!
Sharon will see right through the sleazy Lothario, 42% of the audience predicts. He’s obviously playing her. We now know the debt-collector part of the story is bogus, and he’s one of the good guys… we think.

But if all he wanted was to find JT, why the selfies with Nikki and Victor (Eric Braeden)? And how does being Arturo’s (Jason Canela) brother fit in? There are more members of the family coming. Are they all in on it?

The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
