The Young and the Restless (YR) recap for Friday, September 29 ushers in the month of Halloween with Mariah pretending to be Ghost Cassie in order to scare the truth about Crystal out of Alice.

Mariah (Camryn Grimes) is the identical twin of the girl Alice (Tamara Clatterbuck) adopted — and abandoned. When Alice first saw Mariah, she passed out.
Mariah can work with that. She recruited Sharon (Sharon Case) for a quick Cassie/Alice (and Millie, too) history lesson, then confronted her “mom” using Alice’s guilt about being a bad mom to Cassie while she’s a good “mom” to her girls — to make her imagine Cassie becoming a prostitute.

Sharon arrived to really tighten the screws and, with Tessa (Cait Fairbanks) listening in, Alice finally cracks. Crystal is in New York. Well, Ghost Cassie orders–get her back! OK, Alice whimpers….
Lily (Christel Khalil) told Michael (Christian J. LeBlanc) that she’s decided to divorce Cane, and sent her attorney to fill Cane in. Lily sobbed about it to Jordan (Darnell Kirkwood).
Meanwhile, Hilary (Mishael Morgan) urged Cane (Daniel Goddard) to solve his problem by convincing Juliet (Laur Allen) to return to Japan. Once she’s out off sight, she — and her baby — will be out of mind. Lily will take Cane back, and Jordan…
Why Do We Keep Meeting Like This?
Scott (Daniel Hall) and Abby (Melissa Ordway) just can’t stay away from each other. And they certainly can’t seem to stop sniping at each other. Now it’s about how kids can mess up a relationship — as Abby shared her experience with Stitch and Max.
Abby also wondered what Scott and Sharon could possibly have in common. Scott reminded her that opposites attract. Do they now?
