The Young and the Restless recap for Thursday, April 25 features Neil’s funeral, where his friends and family gather with some faces we haven’t seen in a while.

Family and Friends
As Ana (Loren Lott) sang Amazing Grace, everyone in town gathered for Neil’s (Kristoff St. John) memorial service.

Malcolm (Shemar Moore) returned to town to talk about his rocky relationship with his brother, and how Neil was always telling Malcolm to make good choices. Neil made Malcolm the man he is today. Nate read a letter from his mom, Olivia, sending her love from across the world.

Victor (Eric Braeden) shockingly found himself at a loss for words — and in tears — as he talked about how Neil was like a son to him.

He told Lily (Christel Khalil), Devon (Bryton James), Mattie (Lexie Stevenson), Charlie (Noah Alexander Gerry), and Moses how much Neil enjoyed watching them grow up.

Jack (Peter Bergman) talked about the lives Neil had saved through his charity work. And how one of the lives Neil saved was Jack’s.

Up Close and Personal
Devon admitted he didn’t like Neil at first. But, Neil wouldn’t give up on him. They may not share DNA, but Neil would be in Devon’s head forever.

Lily sobbed and couldn’t go up to speak yet, so Cane (Daniel Goddard) took her place. Cane admitted he let Neil — and Lily — down multiple times, but Neil showed Cane what it was like to have a father who cares.

Lily finally gathered the strength to go up to the podium and sobbed that she felt so alone, with both her parents now dead. She felt Neil deserved to have more time on Earth. Lily and Devon held hands and looked at the portrait of their dad.

The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
