The Young and the Restless recap for Tuesday, December 10, 2019, features more mystery for Amanda just as Elena was trying to convince Devon to get over her. Plus, everyone accused Summer of still wanting Kyle, while Abby and Chance played a game of one-upmanship.
The Young and the Restless Recap Highlights
Abby (Melissa Ordway) showed Chance (Danny Boaz) that the jewels in her purse were fake. There were never any robberies at The Grand Phoenix. Abby hired (terrible) actresses to fake having their jewelry stolen as a way to get Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) out of the hotel.
Chance admitted he knew that, but he helped her anyway. Abby offered him the job as Chief of Security. He said he’d think about it. Neither one was bothered by the fact that they threw an innocent (in this case) woman out of work.
Play the Hand You’re Dealt
The (just in this case) innocent woman went whining to her daughter. Summer (Hunter King) reminded her mother of all the crimes she committed that she was never prosecuted for. Phyllis learned that Summer and Theo (Tyler Johnson) broke up, and wondered what that means for Summer and Kyle (Michael Mealor). Nothing, Summer said.
She told Mariah (Camryn Grimes) the same thing earlier. It was an insult to both her and Kyle to suggest something might happen between them now.

Phyllis goes to Amanda (Mishael Morgan) and asks about filing a wrongful termination suit, but Amanda says she doesn’t want another high-profile, controversial case.
Obsession For Men
Elena (Brytni Sarpy) accused Devon (Bryton James) of being obsessed with Amanda. Devon wondered if Elena still wants to be with him. Elena said he’s the one pulling away.
She urged him to be civil to the woman who just happens to look like his dead wife. Later, that woman was happy her tracker was working again. The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
