The Young and the Restless recap for Thursday, April 2, 2020, features Victoria taking back the reins at Newman as Sharon hears the results of her latest scan. Plus, Adam threatened Victor and Amanda approached Nate.

The Young and the Restless Recap Highlights

Victoria (Amelia Heinle) promised Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) she wouldn’t overdo it her first day back at the office, maybe just an hour or two. Instead, she told Nick (Joshua Morrow) that he can go now. She’s back full time.

Later, Nikki got a double-whammy when she heard Victoria ignored her… and that Nick was back together with Phyllis (Michelle Stafford).

Not Enough

Sharon (Sharon Case) learned that her tumor hadn’t shrunk as much from chemotherapy as the doctors hoped. She got hysterical and sobbed that she may lose her breast, as Rey (Jordi Vilasuso) hugged her.

Adam: Threat of Love

Adam (Mark Grossman) told Victor (Eric Braeden) he was serious about improving their relationship. Oh, and, by the way, here’s evidence to prove that Victor killed Alyssa’s loan shark daddy. Victor pointed out that Adam had no proof, only speculation.

Adam insisted he has proof and all it would take is one word from him and Victor would end up in jail. (Does Adam not know that Victor has been in jail multiple times? And that he’s always gotten out within weeks?)

Man Wanted

Phyllis convinced Amanda (Mishael Morgan) to go after Nate (Sean Dominic). She visited him at the clinic and they discussed how Jared is a totally different kid these days. We, of course, have to take their word for it, since we didn’t see him.

We also don’t see Colin (Tristan Rogers) being arrested by Paul (Doug Davidson) thanks to a sting Chance (Donny Boaz) set up. But Abby (Melissa Ordway) assured Devon (Bryton James) it was a rush. The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
