The Young and the Restless recap for Friday, February 14, celebrated Valentine’s Day without much love. (It’s not their fault, the show got preempted so many times for the impeachment hearings that they’re all off schedule).
Instead, Phyllis loved what she learns about Adam and Chance, Nick and Rey didn’t love Kyle leaving Lola for Summer, and Sharon didn’t love going through cancer treatment.

Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) made it sound like Nick (Joshua Morrow) convinced her to drop the idea of following Adam (Mark Grossman) and Chance (Danny Boaz) to Las Vegas. And, it’s true, she didn’t go.
Instead, she paid off a waitress to plant bugs on Adam and Chance’s table, where they met with Riza, who informed them that “she” doesn’t believe that her husband is in Witness Protection and is asking more questions.

Adam was happy to pay to stay out of jail. He and Chance discussed how Adam saved Chance’s life, but how no one will believe that the guy he killed, as a result, was an accident. Phyllis all but giggled with glee at the revelation.
Gentleman’s Agreement
Nick and Rey (Jordi Vilasuso) bonded over how much they dislike Kyle (Michael Mealor). Rey because of what he did to Lola (Sasha Calle) and Nick because he’s now back together with Summer (Hunter King).
Nick also offered to be there to support Rey, as Rey supports Sharon (Sharon Case). It’s male bonding all around. Sharon insisted to Rey that she feels great the day after chemo, but, later, he found her sick at home. She insisted she could handle this.
Love Is All Around
Kyle and Summer reveled in their love — at the office — even as Jack (Peter Bergman) reminded them of their checkered past as a couple. Summer and Kyle discussed the bet they made over her seducing Billy (Jason Thompson). Oh, yeah, about that… The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS.
