The Young and the Restless recap for Wednesday, May 27, reminds newer fans that Kevin used to be quite the bad boy. As in homicidally bad. Plus, Victor barks at Nikki and Sharon to behave in a manner that reflects well on him, and Ashley enters another of her regular mental breakdowns. The episode originally aired Oct. 10, 2003.

The Young and the Restless Recap Highlights

Before he was Chloe’s (Elizabeth Hendrickson) loving husband and Bella’s doting daddy, Kevin (Greg Rikaart) was every daddy’s – namely Neil’s (Kristoff St. John) – worst nightmare. First, Kevin slept with an underage Lily and gave her a sexually transmitted disease.

Then, when Lily’s best friend, Colleen (Lyndsay Fonseca – you might recognize her from many seasons of sitting mutely and listening to her primetime dad explain How I Met Your Mother), told Kevin that he was scum one too many times, Kevin decided to end the problem, once and for all… by ending Colleen.

He locked her up in a walk-in freezer. But lest she gets too chilly in there, he also lit a fire. No, this isn’t what killed Colleen. That would be in a couple of years. And it was Victor’s (Eric Braeden) fault, then.

Two Ladies

Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) is married to Victor. Sharon (Sharon Case) is married to Nick (Joshua Morrow). They are both Mrs. Newman. But who is the top dog Mrs. Newman?

Do you know when would be a good time to air all of this private family dirty laundry? At the Arts Council Gala, which Sharon is throwing. And Nikki is snarking about. Victor tells them both to behave. They are making him look bad. Can’t have that.

Sad Face

Ashley (Eileen Davidson) lost her and Brad’s (Don Diamont) baby. Now she’s depressed. Brad thinks he can Chinese food and pep talk her out of it. How about some therapy and medication, instead? The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
