The Young and the Restless recap for Thursday, October 8, 2020, reverts to type and goes back to nearly every character obsessing over Adam. Victor growls at Nikki when she dares criticize his golden boy, forcing her to turn to Nick. Adam growls at Chelsea when she doesn’t like how he’s handling their latest crises, forcing Adam to be extra snarky with Adam.

Plus, Victoria gives Katie a lesson she refuses to heed herself, and Abby and Chance discuss how wonderful they both are. Also, Phyllis still needs money.

The Young and the Restless Recap Highlights

Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) tells Victor (Eric Braeden) enough is enough. Adam (Mark Grossman) has hurt too many people. Victor has to get his son out of town. No! Nikki is only saying this because Adam isn’t her child! She needs to support Victor more!

Nikki turns to Nick (Joshua Morrow). He has an idea. He goes to Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) and tries to convince her it will be better for Connor (Judah Mackey) if she and Adam leave Genoa City.

Nikki then goes to Victoria (Amelia Heinle), who has just finished telling Katie to play nicely with her brother and teach him to share. Victoria and Nikki discuss how Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) is trying to raise money before pivoting to how Adam ruined Victoria’s relationship with Victor.

Mano On Mano

Billy (Jason Thompson) tells Adam he knows Adam turned off the lights at Chancellor Communications last night, but all it accomplished was getting Chelsea hurt in a stuck elevator. She’s fine, by the way. They snark about whose fault this situation is. Adam for doing many bad things, or Billy for revealing it. Billy runs to tell Lily (Christel Khalil) how clever he was. Lily would like to talk about other possible stories.

Meant To Be

Chance (Danny Boaz) and Abby (Melissa Ordway) talk about growing up rich and how that’s screwed up their relationships. The sympathy factor isn’t exactly there. The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
