The Young and the Restless recap for Monday, September 28, 2020, features Mariah being a friend to all, while Amanda gets the good, the bad, and the ugly about Hilary, and Elena gets the best of Devon. Meanwhile, Kyle and Summer talk to Jack about love.
The Young and the Restless Recap Highlights
Summer (Hunter King) wants to tell Jack (Peter Bergman) about her and Kyle’s (Michael Mealor) engagement – hoping he’ll be more enthused than Nick (Joshua Morrow). But Kyle wants to do it man to man. Summer goes along, though she does take advantage of her opportunity to gush to Jack about how much she loves Kyle – and how Jack should find love, too.
Summer hoped to butter him up, but when Kyle gets around to breaking the big news, Jack is equally as unhappy. They’re rushing into things – again!
Over the Hilary
Amanda (Mishael Morgan) talks to Mariah (Camryn Grimes) – who knows a little something herself about finding out you had a dead twin – Jack, and Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) about her late sister. Amanda learns that Hilary may not have been quite the saint Devon painted. Hilary could be mean, she could be petty, she could be vindictive, and she could stab you in the back. But let’s focus on her good side. She was really, really pretty!
As Amanda gets a fresh perspective on Hilary, Devon has a picnic lunch with Elena (Brytni Sarpy) to convince her that he isn’t obsessing over his dead wife. So could she please chill, already? She’ll try…
Friends In Deed
After sharing her flashbacks with Amanda, Mariah answers another SOS from Lola (Sasha Calle), who is feeling bad about her upcoming divorce, and her break-up with Theo (Tyler Johnson). Mariah is thrilled that Theo is gone, but understands that Lola is feeling down. Time for a girl’s night! The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
