What Happened Today On The Young and the Restless?

At Nate’s (Sean Dominic) penthouse, Audra (Zuleyka Silver) brought him an oat milk vanilla latte and one for his brother. Nate appreciated the gesture.

When Damian (Nathan Owens) arrived, Nate introduced him to Audra. Damian assumed she worked at Winters, but she clarified that she did not. Nate offered him a latte, but Damian wanted tea instead.

Once Audra left, Nate told Damian that he had not been forthcoming. Damian wasn’t surprised and guessed there was no job. Nate explained that Amy (Valarie Pettiford) had him track Damian down because she had something important to tell him. Damian insisted he was better off without his mother, but Nate urged him to reconsider. Damian stormed out, furious that Nate had wasted his time.

Family Matters

Meanwhile, at Crimson Lights, Amy and Audra talked. Amy wanted a distraction and asked about Audra’s family. Audra admitted she’d kept a lot inside. She revealed that her father drank, and her mother shut down emotionally. Amy sympathized, saying children needed love, though parents did not always express it well. She pointed out that Audra and Damian both feared letting people in. Audra admitted she had learned to rely only on herself but felt lucky to have Nate. Amy hoped Damian would feel the same about his brother.

Later, Nate joined them and updated them on his conversation with Damian. He admitted that Damian had not been receptive and refused to see Amy. Nate had a nagging feeling that he was missing something important. Amy teared up, fearing her son would disappear.

Secrets

In the park, Damian met with another man. It turned out that the “Damian” who had met with Nate was actually Holden. The real Damian (Jermaine River) listened as Holden confirmed that Amy wanted to reconnect with him.

While sipping his oat milk vanilla latte, Damian wondered why she had sent Nate. He admitted he didn’t like others knowing more about him than he knew about them. Damian decided he needed to figure out what kind of game they were playing and told Holden to keep pretending to be him.

Exoneration

At Society, Daniel (Michael Graziadei) told Phyllis (Phyllis) and Summer (Allison Lanier) that Sharon (Sharon Case) had been exonerated. Phyllis was outraged. Daniel urged her to calm down and explained that Ian (Ray Wise) had confessed. Phyllis remained skeptical. Daniel and Summer assured her that the DA had dropped all charges, but Phyllis still wasn’t convinced. Daniel wanted to move on, but Phyllis struggled. However, she agreed to let it go for her son’s sake.

Billy (Jason Thompson) showed up and offered them funding to start a business he overheard Phyllis discussing. Summer left, and Daniel was hesitant. Billy assured him that the new business had nothing to do with Victor and was something new and exciting. He tried to sell them on building an epic media empire. Phyllis loved the idea, but Daniel remained cautious, especially since Jack (Peter Bergman) was the funding source.

At the Abbott estate, Jack found Kyle (Michael Mealor) deep in thought. Kyle explained that Ward and Jordan had caused havoc together.

Jack checked on Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) before leaving, while Kyle told Diane (Susan Walters) about Claire (Hayley Erin). He admired how she had handled her ordeal. Kyle assumed Diane liked Claire, but Diane said she was concerned about Victor. Kyle remained determined not to let Victor interfere.

Home Sweet Home

Victor returned home, and his family’s concern frustrated him. He reminded them he had survived worse. They updated him about Ian’s confession, but Nikki said it was a lie. Victor wanted to move on. He expressed pride in how they had handled things.

Jack showed up to check on Nikki, but Victor demanded that he leave. Victor warned his nemesis to keep Kyle away from Claire.

Once Jack got home, he and Diane discussed the situation. He told Diane that Victor planned to interfere in Kyle’s relationship with Claire. Jack vowed not to let Victor go after their son again.
