One night stands have led to more on soaps, but could that ever happen between Cane and Juliet on The Young and the Restless (YR)?
Juliet (Laur Allen) is expecting a baby and, by all accounts, Cane (Daniel Goddard) is the dad. Whether or not that could prompt them to become a couple remains to be seen.
Soap Hub asked Y&R fans to weigh in on whether or not they think it’s even a possibility!
Could Cane Be Juliet’s Romeo?
Juliet could give birth to sextuplets and it wouldn’t be enough to bond her with Cane according to most of you, nearly 79%. “He belongs with Lily” is how the majority of you feel.
And many men in Genoa City have had children with different women, but their heart belongs to another lady. For example, Billy and Chelsea share a child, Johnny, but he’s in love with Phyllis (or maybe Victoria). Two of Victor’s four children — Adam and Abby — are with other women, but his true love is Nikki.

What Light Through Yonder Window Breaks
There’s a small but vocal group, a little over 21% of you, that feel that there’s a lot to explore between Juliet and Cane.
While some may be anticipating a “shocking twist” to come along that will reveal Cane isn’t the father (after all, we only saw Juliet exiting Cane’s hotel room, we didn’t see them make love and Cane doesn’t remember everything), wouldn’t it be interesting to see that Cane is truly Juliet’s baby’s daddy?

If Cane really is the dad and he were to give it a shot with Juliet for the sake of the child, the question would be “Will Cane and Lily ever get back together?” Victor and Nikki were apart for a decade between their divorce and re-marriage in the late ’90s (which turned out to not even be legal).
Are stories that span years and years gone from soaps forever? Or could we have to wait a long time before seeing Cane and Lily reunite?
