The Baldwin clan on The Young and the Restless (YR) has grown in numbers recently, despite the upcoming exit of Michael Baldwin’s half-brother Kevin Fisher.
We’ve seen the return of Scott, Lauren Fenmore Baldwin’s son with the late Scott Grainger, and Gloria, played by fan favorite Judith Chapman, who’s lit up the screen with her joyful presence.
Soap Hub quizzed Y&R fans as to which member of the Baldwin clan is their favorite. Are the results surprising? Read on to find out!
A Strong Case For Michael
Despite having a diminished role, Michael Baldwin, played by three-time Emmy-winner Christian LeBlanc, earned nearly half of your votes with 48% of the tally.
Whether he’s got a juicy front-burner story or is “merely” acting as an assertive attorney for Brash & Sassy, LeBlanc is skilled at making Michael an interesting — and popular — character.
Kevin Can Wait
Y&R execs should know that exiting fan fave Kevin, played by Emmy winner Greg Rikaart, came in second in this poll, earning a solid 28% of the vote.
While his fate hasn’t been revealed, fans are hoping that Kevin is able to return to Genoa City in the near future. In fact, most are unhappy he’s leaving at all!

Gloria and the Graingers
Lauren (Emmy-winner Tracey Bregman), who was once a Grainger, came in third in this poll with 9%. This may seem a little low to some given Lauren’s tenure in Genoa City, but perhaps fans see Michael’s wife as a Fenmore — not a Baldwin — since she uses that handle professionally.
Popular newcomer Daniel Hall plays Scott, who came in next with 7% of the vote. We can only imagine his score would have been higher if he were an official Baldwin, but he’s a Grainger!
By the time Lauren and Michael wed, Scott was a young man and the issue of Michael adopting Scott never came up as it was unnecessary.
Last, but oh so far from least, is Gloria, who earned 6% of the vote. Like Scott, Gloria’s not really a Baldwin — her last four husbands have been Jeffrey Bardwell, his twin, William Bardwell, John Abbott and Tom Fisher.
Lately, we’ve seen Gloria interacting more with and working for her former stepson Jack, so it’s understandable that voters are associating her more with the Abbotts than the Baldwin clan.
